We read the reviews thankfully before attending the show, ensuring that we arrived on time and were aware that there was no opening act. Miss Akon kicked off the show promptly at 8:00 PM! The Venetian Theater is truly a gem - it's small and intimate, a winner. I don't think Diana has ever performed in such a small venue before! Our seats were in the 4th row, but upon entering from the back of the theater, we realized that every seat offered a fantastic view. The acoustics in the theater were flawless. Moving on to the performance... Diana took the stage from 8 to around 9:20 and delivered exceptional performances on every song! While she didn't sing all of her hits (like Missing You, Dirty Looks, Mirror Mirror, Endless Love), she did showcase the essential hits from her time as a Supreme and a solo artist. She changed outfits almost as frequently as she sang songs, and the audience adored every moment and every gown. The highlight of the night was that it was her farewell performance, and all her children were present in the audience! Her daughter Tracee, the star of ABC's Blackish, joined her on stage to perform Lady Sings the Blues together! An unforgettable experience. Furthermore, Diana appeared noticeably at ease and interacted directly with the audience in a meaningful manner throughout the show. She engaged with the cell phone cameras and videos, often posing and even inviting the most enthusiastic audience members on stage to sing and dance with her. The tickets were $225 per seat, and it was money well spent!! Additionally, due to the intimate venue size, there were no lengthy lines for entry and exit, unlike at MGM and Mandalay!
